Critical Thinking, Self-Compassion, and Poetry

On this blog, I hope to explore the world of self-love and self-compassion and why those two things are extremely important. In today’s day and age, it is very easy to feel insecure and as though we can never measure up. I truly want this blog to be a reminder that you are enough, just as you are. You are enough. There is no one in the world that could ever replace you. Life might be full of suffering, but I want to remind you that you are deserving of happiness. You deserve everything your heart could possibly dream of—and more. You deserve peace, love, comfort, safety, and happiness. You deserve to take a moment every day to do something that fills your soul with joy. I have found profound happiness in the little things in life. My favourite foods, a relaxing day inside, music, and the wonderful people in my life are great examples of this. Being happy does not require excess. There are so many beautiful things in this life that can be appreciated for everything that they are. Most importantly, I am learning how to better appreciate the extraordinary power of self-compassion.
