Shyan
Here, I explain an acronym that has profound meaning in my life. The original version is Hathtshyanlg, but the abridged one is Shyan.
✞ For anyone who is a Christian, or even a non-Christian, I have created a new acronym. Sounds dumb... but hear me out.
❤️🔥Hathtshyanlg ✞
It stands for: "His are the hands that shall hold you, and never let go." ✞
Since it does not flow well... an abbreviated acronym FOR this acronym is going to be Shyan [pronounced: shy • inn or shy • ann]. Thus, Shyan is synonymous with that sentence. I am a writer. This is not an initialism or an abbreviation. Please allow me to make up the rules of English just this once, please.
Anyway, a few weeks ago—I had an epiphany.✨
There is a quote from the book, “Emma” by Jane Austen. She wrote, “I can not make speeches. If I loved you any less, I might be able to talk about it more.”
I revere that statement a lot right now. We often think of God as silent and we equate that to His absence. Or His lack of answering our prayers. But I am of the belief that even a single breath from His lungs would send His entire beautiful creation into tears of joy; it would be beautiful and agonising all at the same time. In this divine tempest, time would stop. It would be all righteous emotion, complete conviction experienced all at once. Just a breath. After all if God loved us any less, perhaps He would be able to talk about it more.
Have a beautiful evening, everyone. Most of all, remember my initial acronym—Hathtshyanlg—His are the hands that shall hold you, and never let go. ✞
Shyan. ✞✨❤️🔥
